HYC CrossFit was founded by Christian Papandrea, a Professor of Physical Education with a degree from the University of Genoa (2002). A former professional football player, Christian has over 20 years of experience and has specialized in Functional Training. He is a certified CrossFit Level 2 coach, as well as an instructor in TRX Suspension Training and Kettlebell Lifting.

At HYC CrossFit, our mission is to help clients achieve their fitness goals through tailored, high-quality services. We offer a comprehensive range of fitness solutions, including in-home personal training, nutrition guidance, group classes, and sport-specific training.

Hey everyone-glad to be here!

OMy name is Sam a Level 3 CrossFit Trainer with a Master's degree in Sport Performance. I have been luck enough to coach internationally in a few different countries the last 13 years. 

What drives me is helping people of all abilities and fitness levels live a healthier lifestyle and slow down the aging process - not just train for a season or a competition. I really think dedication and consistency are what make the real difference in long-term health and fitness.

Skye Kaff 

 

Skye is all about building the next generation of strong, confident, and healthy humans.

Originally from California, Skye is an L1 certified CrossFit coach with a deep-rooted passion for health and wellbeing. With a background in ecology and public health, and years of experience in the health sector, she brings both science and heart into everything she does. After moving to Switzerland 7 years ago, CrossFit became her way of turning knowledge into action.

At HYC, Skye primarily leads our Kids classes for ages 5–9, where movement becomes play and confidence is built from the inside out. She believes CrossFit is one of the most powerful tools to support lifelong health: helping children, teens, and adults develop strength, resilience, and self-belief at every age and ability level.

When she’s not coaching, you’ll find Skye doing CrossFit herself, baking, shopping, or playing board games. Her classes are energetic, safe, and fun, creating an environment where kids fall in love with movement and learn habits that last a lifetime.
